Why should the city think of something? Why don't YOU do something? By commuting, you are part of the problem. Like a previous poster said, you could commute using a smaller vehicle such as a motorcyle. You could also move closer to work so you are using the roads less. You could get a job closer to home so you are using the roads less. I live just a few hundred feet from work so I can sleep in until half an hour before work. It takes me about one minute to walk to work. All that free time is nice!

Only when the governor of the state or president of USA is at a complete stop for 5 days on the Santa Ana freeway, we are almost at that point in time. Yes they could if they would, thats what we should be protesting instead of the war, its not healthy to be stuck in traffic.

why should they do something about it? There is no financial motivation in it for them. Do yourself a favor; commute on a motorcycle - especially if lane splitting/sharing is legal in your state.
