My company used to buy my monthly bus pass ($40) but decided to do away with this benefit (car users are still reimbursed for their parking fee, up to $50). I feel this is VERY unfair, when I don't even own a car. Any opinion?

get reimbursed on your income tax. if the parkers are getting reimbursed they can't file it.

I would have to agree that it is unfair. Not that they don't pay for the bus pass, but that they did away with that but still pay for parking, which is more. Maybe some people were getting both, and I can see them putting an end to that.
Of course, I live in Denver where mass transit is not the norm... If you live in a place where more people take the subway or train than those who have cars, I can see it more.

nah, it sucks being herded around like cattle. I think companies should support motorcycle commuting because it costs less, pollutes less, is less of a burden on existing infrastructures, and takes up much less room in the parking lot.
Heck, I'm trying to get my company to give me orange juice every morning, they give everyone else premium coffee and espresso. They tell me the water is free. It just aint fair

I don't think it's unfair at all. I think the company is merely saving itself money.
