How do you notify the bus driver that you need to stop, if there are no stop buttons? The last time I took a public bus it drove straight past my stop (luckily, someone got off the bus at the next stop, only 50m further along). But I had a good look around, and there were absolutely no buttons, although there was the screen that said "Bus stopping" as if someone had pressed one... I'm just a little confused. ;\

well most buses have buttons in the rubber strips around the windows. but those are usually marked, although ill admit unless you're an experienced bus rider, you would never know they were stop buttons.

Look for a rubber strip, sometimes yellow, sometimes black, that runs below the windows and up next to the doors. That's usually where you press to request a stop. Some older buses have a pull cord. Every seat should have one within reach. Ask a fellow passenger if you don't want to ask the driver.
