I was scared of driving on freeways for a while, too. What I did to get over it was practiced driving early on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I was able to get used to merging with "traffic," even though there really wasn't any. Then I'd start doing it once a week just to work into it, especially during the summer when kids don't have school and there's less traffic than during the school year. After a while it's no sweat! Good luck!

Ya it's all pretty scary on the roads. But as far as freeways go. Remember one big advantage is all the traffic is suppose to be and usually is driving the same direction.

And you have very little traffic making illegal turns in your path like when you travel on city streets passing throiugh intersections. MARLON

start small.

just sit in a car that's not moving for a while.

When you are ready, go for short trips.

Continue to build up slowly.

Don't push yourself too hard though and if your fear is overwhelming then I'd suggest you talk to some friends about it and think about seeking counceling.

look at the race car drivers then you see that even if they do crash everything will be fine
